EU countries agree to allow entry of tourists with EU-approved vaccines
EU member states have reached an agreement to allow entry into the community for tourists fully vaccinated with EU-approved vaccines, Agence France-Presse (AFP) reported, citing sources in the EU.
As expected, the topic of opening borders and related vaccination certificates should become one of the main topics at the emergency summit of the heads of state and government of the European Union on May 25.
EU countries are discussing the idea of introducing vaccination certificates recognized in all 27 EU countries from the beginning of March. The name green digital pass was invented by the European Commission, it also suggested that this document should include three categories of data: the actual vaccination, the dates of the COVID-19 disease, and the dates and results of PCR tests.
